University of Neuchâtel

Located between Geneva, Bern and Zurich, the University of Neuchâtel is made up of four faculties which welcome some 4,200 students, of which 50% come from other Swiss cantons and 22% from abroad.

There are many possibilities for bachelor’s degrees, as well as masters in Letters and Humanities, Law, Sciences and Economics, often original, all recognized by the Bologna Declaration, and therefore Euro-compatible.

The Alma mater in Neuchâtel thus offers a vast program of studies and research in innovative fields that meet the needs of society. These areas are found in particular within thirteen themes for teaching and research in which UniNE has key skills, all faculties combined and identified in the 2027 strategic vision.

The University of Neuchâtel employs nearly 780 full-time equivalent staff, 70% of whom are dedicated to teaching. The institution is known for its proximity between students and teachers, in an atmosphere promoting the quality of supervision, exchanges and conviviality.
