The PHSG trains primary and secondary school teachers and offers further training for teachers of all levels. In addition to a well-founded specialist and didactic training, the PHSG is characterized in particular by its strong anchoring in the professional field and its own recognized teaching and learning research.
More than 1,400 students study at the PHSG, all of them pursuing the goal of becoming teachers at different levels of primary, secondary and vocational education.
