University of Lucerne

The University of Lucerne is the youngest university in Switzerland, even though its roots date back to 1600, it has become one of Switzerland’s twelve universities only since 2000. Because of its late establishment and regional as well as national integration, UNILU is given the role of a small scientific institution. By being a tertiary education institution, active in the fields of “scientific research”, “training”, and “further education”, UNILU contributes to the living and economic area of Central Switzerland.
