Bern University of Applied Sciences

The Bern University of Applied Sciences is a public vocational university with a strong national and international profile. It comprises six departments and also incorporates the Higher Technical School of Wood, which is affiliated to the Department of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering.

As well as Bachelor and master’s degree programmes, BFH offers continuing education, applied research and development and other services. The Bern University of Applied Sciences offers students a wide range of opportunities at its locations in Bern, Biel and Burgdorf to make life attractive and enjoyable during their studies.

Coaching, counselling and workshops – the counselling centre of the Bernese universities offers students free assistance and counselling on the topics of learning and working techniques, exam preparation, and coping with crisis situations.

At the BFH, students can also make use of the statistical advisory service – mathematics and economics professors provide support in case of problems and questions.
