Business finance is about creating value for stakeholders—making this field rewarding and challenging to work in. Students can learn how to make decisions based on financial risks and opportunities in this specialization predict their clients’ needs, and leverage financial capital effectively while balancing risk and profitability. Students will graduate with sound corporate ethics and a detailed global finance overview thanks to a clear understanding of economic methods and institutions.


This degree helps students acquire specialist skills in finance including bank and treasury management, and security management. It also provides them with fundamental knowledge in all major business areas. Upon successful completion of this degree, students may be interested in job positions such as the ones below:

  • A financial planner looks after the financial interests of businesses, families, and/or individuals to help them reach their financial goals.
  • An accountant prepares and examine financial records, ensure tax payments are made on time and correctly, and write financial reports, among others. He/she is responsible for ensuring that financial statements and records comply with local laws and regulations.
  • A budget analyst is responsible for supporting the financial strategy.
  • A trader buys and sells investment products, their tasks include gathering and analyzing market and company information, making prices for specific products, and providing trading information.
