This degree gives students in-depth knowledge of the fast-growing sectors of tourism and hospitality. Upon successful completion of this degree, students may be interested in job positions such as the ones below:
- An entertainment manager or event manager is tasked with organizing large-scale events. He/she determines event objectives with clients and through implementation, ensures that they’re met.
- A commercial director of a hotel is in charge of ensuring that it is booked throughout the year and of coordinating with other departments to assure that client needs are met and that the hotel has the required resources to satisfy them.
- A public relations manager is tasked with building and maintaining a positive image for their clients or company.
- A tour manager coordinates trips for individuals and groups and provides support throughout the trip. He/she also organizes accommodation, car hire, insurance, among other activities.
